T1 HDD Services is committed to a strong safety program that protects its staff, our property, the customer and the public from work place accidents. Employees at every level, including management, are responsible and accountable for the company's overall safety initiatives. Complete and active participation by everyone, every day, and in every job is necessary for the safety excellence the company expects. We support coordination of safety among all workers on the job site. We also require participation in the program by all employees and provide proper equipment, training and procedures. Employees are responsible for following all procedures, working safely, and where possible improving safety measures.

An injury and accident free workplace is our goal and commitment. Only through a continuous safety and loss control effort can we accomplish this.

T1 HDD Services Safety Management Committee is certified to complete training in WHMIS (Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System), TDG (Transportation of Dangerous Goods) and Flag Person Operations. There is numerous other safety programs in place adhered to by the T1 HDD Services staff. These include certification for Confined Space Entry, Trenching and Excavation and H2S Alive. We also have a program established to train employees in Hoisting and Rigging.

T1 HDD Services has a complete safety manual setting out all safety procedures and all of the relevant Safe Work Procedures. Our manuals and health and safety program conform in all respects to the requirements of the Alberta Construction Safety Association.

T1 HDD Services, along with their parent company T1 Utility Corp., maintain a Certificate of Recognition (20050811-10818) through the partnerships in Health and Safety and the ACSA and is a member in good standing with the Workers Compensation Board ( 498459/2 ).
